GRANT OR BURSARY

Disability Grant Scheme – Sports Clubs

You will provide the opportunity, for people who have a disability, to train and take part in a recognised sport and, where appropriate, provide opportunities for your members to take part in competition.

Maximum Grant Award – £750 in any 24 months

Disability Grant Scheme – Groups

You will be a group of volunteers who are making a difference for people with a disability, either through social events or physical activities in the local community.

Maximum Grant Award – £750 in any 24 months

Bursary Scheme – Coach Education

You will be a volunteer or a qualified coach who needs financial support to further your skills and knowledge through Coach Education or other required course e.g. scUK Safeguarding and Protecting Children.

You can apply for a Bursary up to £100, in any 12 months, to help with the costs of the qualification up to 75% of the cost of the course.

Bursary Scheme – Athlete

You will be an Athlete with a disability who needs financial support e.g. to cover costs to attend a national or international competition, cost of sports equipment or additional coaching expenses.

You can apply for a Bursary up to a maximum of £250 in any 12 months.
