The HISI Funding has been used to deliver 50 SEN Mini-Athletic sessions to a school in Stevenage, and the sessions have gone so well. Three children who have benefited from the sessions now come along to the Sunday morning public class with their adults too.
Staff at the school said “I think the sessions have really supported the children developing fundamental movement skills like jumping, throwing etc. It has also developed listening skills and they have built up the amount of time they engage in tasks for. The children really look forward to the sessions. I also think its building their confidence.'”
Harriet said “The sessions are going so so well and are really well received. The children get so excited when they come into the hall and they have learnt the class structure really well as well as clear improvement in their physical abilities”.
Thanks so much for the support in delivering these sessions!
